DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 2" hanging timepiece, 8 day, weight driven movement with maintaining power in an oak case with painted metal dial.
CONDITION: Rubbed down oak case with some small veneer repairs and lifting veneer on the base. Original painted dial is in very good condition with just the smallest amount of chipping around the mounting screws. Hands, pendulum, and weight are original. Lacquer protecting the brass weight has started to turn brown. Remains of original label in the bottom of the case. Swinging part of the bezel latch is missing, but easily replaced. The rectangular movement is signed.
